In honor of the F1 world championship victory on Oct. 14, 2003, a symbol of the Ferrari myth stands in downtown Maranello: the Cavallino. A sculpture made of beaten sheet metal, donated to the City of Maranello by Albanian-born sculptor Helidon Xhixha.

To the side of Maranello’s City Hall is a bronze statue, depicting the most significant stages of his life.
